The Time of Our Lives exposes the enigma of ageing, as some of the world’s cutting-edge scientists compete to explain it.

This two-part series gets under our skin to explore what happens inside our bodies as we move through life. Alongside Japanese centenarians in Okinawa, five generations of an Australian family aged from 2 to 100 reveal that ageing remains a mysterious process – even though we are familiar with the signs of age, the scientific jury is still out on why we age, and what, if anything, we can do about it.
